Abstract

Blunt chest trauma resulting in vascular injury is usually of serious magnitude to represent a surgical emergency. This report documents the late presentation of a subclavian branch vessel aneurysm which resulted from blunt chest trauma 3 years earlier and was discovered by delayed neurologic and vascular symptoms. In the 31-year-old male described, operative resection of the aneurysm was followed by uneventful recovery.
