Abstract

This note studies the problem of singular time-delay systems. At first, a simplified stability criterion is derived after establishing equivalence among several recently proposed stability criteria. By using a delay decomposition method, a new stability criterion, which is much less conservative than the existing ones, is presented. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness and less conservatism of the new proposed stability criterion.
