Abstract
In this paper, robust stability for uncertain systems with time delay is investigated. A new delay-dependent stability criterion is given for the uncertain systems with time delay by using the Lyapunov method and quadratic stability theory. A new upper bound on time delay based on the Hamiltonian matrix and a solvable algebraic Riccati equation is presented. Two illustrative examples are given to show the superiority of the present result to those in the literature.
