Abstract

This paper is concerned with the stabilization and H <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</inf> control problem for linear neutral delay systems. Attention is focused on the design of linear memoryless state feedback controllers. Based on the solutions of linear matrix inequalities, the methods of stabilization and H <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</inf> control which are dependent on the size of the delay are developed. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed method.
