Abstract

This letter proposes a delay QoS (Quality-of-Service) guaranteed cooperative spectrum sensing framework in which secondary users conduct spectrum sensing and data transmission simultaneously over two different parts of the primary user spectrum band. The optimal multi-minislot sensing scheme and the optimal fusion scheme are derived to minimize the transmission delay. Simulation results show that the delay performance is further improved by using the optimal fusion scheme, and the multi-minislot sensing scheme can achieve a time diversity gain in the delay performance.
