Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a promising technology, finds in various applications. WSN is a self-healing, self-configurable network consists of thousands of sensor nodes that communicate with the mobile sink (destination node). Existing work address this issue using single mobile sink, where a single node(sink) collects the data from all the sensing nodes in the network. The goal of this paper is to measure the network delay with multiple mobile sinks using MADC (Mobility Assisted Data Collection) model to segregate mobile data. Parameters such as network life time, through put, and delay is measured based on the proposed work achieved by data fusion which reduces delay and power consumption.
