Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent methods for the stability and guaranteed cost control for a class of nonlinear descriptor delay systems which can be represented by the TakagiSugeno (TS) fuzzy descriptor models with time-varying delays. A quadratic cost function is used as a guaranteed performance index. Sufficient conditions for the existence of guaranteed cost controllers via state feedback are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach. A numerical examples are solved to show the usefulness and validness of the theoretical results and illustrate the less conservatism of the obtained results.
