Abstract
Angry, frustrated, disappointed—that is the way we feel at Diabetes UK. Why? In October, the government announced it was delaying its much vaunted National Service Framework for Diabetes, due to be published this year. But the government has now said that, while it hopes to publish the standards this autumn, implementation must wait another year.
