Abstract
The phenomenon of delamination buckling and growth in a compressively loaded, two-layer circular plate is analyzed. Geometrical nonlinearity is included in the model in order to determine the effect of postbuckling stiffness on the delamination growth process, and the influence of imperfections in the form of transverse loads is also examined.
