Abstract

Human life consists of several layers. There is some reason behind his every action. As far as Tamil literature is concerned, from the first available book, Tolkappiyam, one can identify the thoughts of the deity and the records of worship. It is worth considering that Tolkappiyar refers to the deity as the first element in the theme. In the years that followed, it can be seen that thoughts about the deity have increased. In this way, this article deals with the deities and traditions of worship recorded in the novels of Vela Ramamoorthy.
