Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative research which aims to describe the form of relational social deixis. The data in this research are utterances in the form of words or sentences, and the data source is the political rubric on Fajar online media. Data collection is done by reading technique, note-taking technique, and documentation technique. The results of this study reveal that there are two forms of social deixis in the political rubric on Fajar online media, namely the form of relational social deixis in the form of speakers and references (honorific references) and the form of relational social deixis in the form of speakers and speakers (honorific speakers). While the form of social deixis that is less found in Fajar online media is relational social deixis in the form of speaker and reference (honorific reference).
