Abstract
Abstract Herein reported is a photoinduced dehydrogenative three-component coupling reaction of carbon monoxide with two molecules of methylarenes forming dibenzyl ketones. A gaseous dihydrogen molecule evolves as the byproduct, and neither oxidants nor hydrogen acceptors are required.
