Abstract
For the modified Korteweg–de Vries–Sine Gordon (MKdV-SG) system, we have investigated the degenerate N-soliton solution and the degenerate higher-order breather solution via the bilinear method. The dynamic properties of these degenerate solutions are not only visually displayed through exquisite images, but also accurately described by the specific mathematical expressions. In addition, this paper also intuitively shows how to derive higher-order degenerate solutions from the N-soliton solution for the MKdV-SG equation.
