Abstract

The multifragmentation of heavy ion induced reactions leading to a deformed and a spherical fragments as well as some nucleons are studied. The angular distributions of the produced fragments are calculated using the statistical scission model. The model is used also to calculate the variances of the product fragments in the present sequential fission. The present theoretical calculations of the differential cross sections are in good agreements with the experimental data for the carbon incident energy 84 A MeV. The present obtained values of the numerical calculations are in good agreement with pervious calculations. The present calculations show strong dependence of the variances and angular distributions of the fragments from heavy-ion induced fission on the nuclear temperature which should be considered in any calculations.
