Abstract

We investigated experimentally the behavior of material with shape memory upon change of stress in the range of direct and inverse martensitic transformation. The article shows that the magnitude of the phase deformations does not depend on the stresses only but also on the temperature at which they are applied. It was established that a change of stresses in the range of inverse martensitic transformation has barely any influence on the magnitude of strain recovery.
