Abstract

Using recent experimental information on the ${\ensuremath{\beta}}^{+}$ decay of ${}^{71}\mathrm{Kr},$ as well as available data on ${}^{71}\mathrm{Br},$ we suggest the deformation and relevant one-particle orbitals of low-lying states in the $A=71$ nuclei. Prolate deformation and a weaker spin-orbit potential are suggested in order to be consistent with available data on ${}^{71}\mathrm{Br}.$
