Abstract
Respiration-correlated or 4D cone-beam CT imaging has recently been shown clinically feasible, and highly desirable for target localization in stereotactic radiotherapy of lung cancer. Due to the slow rotation speed of the Linac gantry and limited clinical time, the image quality of current 4DCBCT is significantly inferior to the diagnostic 4DCT. This work investigates a new technique to improve 4DCBCT imaging.
