Abstract
Ecological challenges of the XXI century make us seek ways to more fully use non-renewable resources, including coal. When coal is enriched, a considerable amount of unused slurry is accumulated, containing an organic component. Composition of coal slurry, generated during coal enrichment process, was investigated by elemental analysis, X-ray phase analysis and IR spectroscopy. Mineral and organic composition of coal slurry was studied in detail. The structural models of the basic elements of coal slurry were obtained.
