Abstract

Today web communities form a significant part of the Internet, providing opportunities to meet the information needs of users and their interaction. However, it is often the target of virtual communities of information attacks. Detection of dangerous information attacks in virtual communities is an important task which is to study the stages of the life cycle of virtual communities. In this paper the actual problem of development of methods of definition of security indicator of the virtual community against information attacks is solved and the life cycle of virtual communities is researched. Obtained results allow improving efficiency of work of virtual communities. It also allows formalizing directions of research for further development of new effective protection systems and it integrated in virtual community to prevent information attacks.
