Abstract
This article aims to deeply explore the practice of the "Two Mountains Theory", in order to promote the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature in the new era. The concept of "Two Mountains Theory" in China emphasizes the construction of ecological civilization, achieving sustainable development and coordinated coexistence between humans and nature by protecting mountains and rivers, ecological environment, and sustainable utilization of resources. This article first introduces the core viewpoint and historical background of this concept. Secondly, the article discusses in detail the application of the "Two Mountains Theory" in practice, including ecological environment improvement, sustainable resource utilization, ecological agriculture and rural revitalization, and other aspects. Next, this article analyzes the importance of social participation and policy support, emphasizing the key role of public education and publicity, government policies and regulations, and active participation of enterprises and social organizations in achieving the goals of the "Two Mountains Theory". However, practicing the "Two Mountains Theory" is not without challenges. This article lists some environmental issues and challenges, such as environmental pollution and resource depletion, and proposes solutions and innovative methods to address these challenges. Finally, through effectiveness evaluation and future prospects, this article summarizes the achievements and impact of the "Two Mountains Theory" practice, emphasizes its importance in promoting harmonious coexistence between humans and nature in the new era, encourages more people to actively participate, and jointly build a better ecological future.
