Abstract

The article substantiates the peculiarities of the socio-cultural environment of the secondary school in rural areas. It was found out that the following most significant socio-cultural factors influence the effectiveness of the educational process in rural areas: the psychological, social and informational. The essence of the psychological factor is that students have a limited range of impressions, which should contribute to the development of horizons, the formation of general education and specific (subjective) abilities and skills. Problems of rural education are due to the peculiarities of lifestyle in small settlements is a social factor. Significant role in the development of schoolchildren plays an informative factor. The purpose of the article is to justify approaches to providing profile education in a rural high school. In the work the complex of theoretical and empirical methods is used. It is proved that during extra-curricular activities happens deepening of the selected educational profile is intensified in inter-school electives, summer specialized camps, sections of the Small Academy of Sciences. The School of the Countryside provides an opportunity for each student to design their own technology for profiling the educational space according to their individual needs and needs. Such technology provides everyone with the opportunity to develop their own educational route, and on the basis of the developed route to form their own education profile. The work of students of rural areas in inter-school electives, sections of the Small Academy of Sciences, summer camps expands the range of their communication, gives them the opportunity to acquire social experience, not to be lost in unfamiliar circumstances, to expand their circle of communication, which to a certain extent eliminates the negative impact of socio-cultural factors of the rural environment: psychological, social and informational.
