Abstract

Current transient spectroscopy is investigated in order to determine the density of deep states in the gap of undoped, high-resistive a-Si:H. To estimate the attempt-to-escape frequency from the states, carrier capture measurement is carried out and analyzed considering spatial variation of the carrier capture, and the density of states is deduced from the detailed analysis of J X t product.
