Abstract

The Web of Things (WoT) is an evolution of the Internet of Things (IoT). The main objective of WoT is to connect all smart devices via the Internet so that they can share services and resources globally. But this increase in connectivity makes devices vulnerable to different types of cyber-attacks that affect the normal functioning of smart devices and leak private information. The detection and prevention of cyber-attacks in WoT is therefore an important research issue. In this paper, we proposed a deep learning approach based on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) for intrusion detection in WoT environment.
