Abstract

Autoimmune neuromuscular disorders affecting peripheral nerves, neuromuscular junction or muscle have a wide clinical spectrum with diverse pathogenic mechanisms. Peripheral nerve may be targeted in the context of complex immune mechanisms. Of these are the Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS) and its variant Miller-Fisher syndrome.
