Abstract

Rationale: Despite the growing evidence of the importance of the gut microbiota in cancer, its implication in lung cancer is still poorly studied. Moreover, patients with tumours in lower lobes (LLT) show worse survival after resection compared to ones with tumours in upper lobes (ULT). We aimed to examine the immune parameters, dietary intake and gut microbiota population in these groups.
