Abstract

A 32-year-old Japanese woman was admitted at 38 weeks' gestation with regular uterine contractions. She was diagnosed with frontal lobe epilepsy at the age of 17, and she had been treated with several anti-epileptic drugs (AEDs) since then but complied poorly due mainly to nausea and frequent seizure attacks.
