Abstract
Decoupled Cell Monte Carlo calculations using 8 site cubic cells on lattices of up to 243 spins are presented for both the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic Heisenberg models. Finite size scaling analysis of the magnetic susceptibility is used to determine the critical exponents v and γ/v, and the critical temperature T c . DCM values of v and T c agree with other calculations, but we find that γ/v is slightly greater than 2.0, in contradiction to the results of the high-temperature and e-expansions. Overall, our results are consistent with the universality of the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic models.
