Abstract
A new decomposition theoretic algorithm for the linear stochastic decentralized control problem is proposed. The possibility of on-line implementation of the algorithm is described. For a situation in which control gains must be updated on line to account for changes in system structure and parameters, such an implementation results in a hierarchical, decentralized control structure with limited requirement for real time information transfer.
