Abstract

Pulsed NMR method is used to study phase separation kinetics in solid solution of He isotopes with 0.54 % 3He at 100 mK and 20.55 cm3/mole. The growth of 3He-enriched phase continued more than 30 hr with rate and separation temperature depending on sample history. 3He diffusion in concentrated phase is quasi-one-dimensional with unusually large diffusion coefficient 10-5 cm2/s, whereas magnetization changes and spin-lattice relaxation time coincide with those for bulk solid 3He.
