Abstract

We report decoherence time measurements on the fundamental transition in single InGaAs quantum dots (QDs) by using a high-sensitivity Fourier transform spectroscopy on the photoluminescence signal arising from single QDs. We have investigated two samples with different nature of the wetting layer resulting in different confinement energies. We bring evidence of environment effects on the acoustic phonon assisted broadening processes.
