Abstract
Deaf and mute patients comprise the sub group of population in which assessment and diagnosis of psychotic disorder is challenging. Difficulties in communication is a barrier towards it. Moreover, the patients have varying presentation which makes things even more difficult. In the following three cases, we would discuss the problems faced in assessment of deaf mute patients with possible explanations for it.
