Abstract
The mechanoelectrical energy conversion in a piezoelectric element is achieved differently depending on the stress to be applied. After a brief summarize of the mechanoelectrical conversion, the analysis of the slow compression is done. The remaining electric field in the piezoelement yielded the establishment of its theoretical expression on the basis of simplifying assumptions and the experimental validation. Then a new definition of the value of the electrical energy provided in the spark generation on a compressive-decompressive cycle is given and the interelectrode distance is optimized
