Abstract

A decentralized adaptive control approch based on simple adaptive control(SAC) method which possesses a simplified adaptive controller structure and robustnesses for uncertainties of the plant is developed. Here, it is shown that, if (i) each SISO subsystem satisfies either M-matrix condition or range condition and (ii) fundamental linear part of each subsystem satisfies usual design conditions of SAC, then, the design procedure of SISO SAC can be applicable to each subsystem. Subsequently, the stability of obtained decentralized SAC system is verified.
