Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of decentralized robust H/sub /spl infin// control for a class of interconnected uncertain systems with state delays. The parameter uncertainties are unknown but norm-bounded. The definition of decentralized robust H/sub /spl infin// control of uncertain large-scale systems is proposed. A new sufficient condition is obtained for each subsystem and overall system to be stabilizable with given H/sub /spl infin// norm bound via linear memoryless state feedback decentralized controllers. The results depend on the size of the delays and are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, an illustrative example is presented.
