Abstract
This paper proposes a decentralized control scheme for multi-machine power system with nonlinear interconnections. The decentralized control law is constructed by a backstepping method. The proposed controller is robust with regard to the parameter uncertainties and also attenuates persistent disturbances in the sense of L2-gain. Simulation results on a three-machine power system clearly show the effectiveness of the proposed decentralized control scheme.
