Abstract

In this paper, a new decentralized adaptive control scheme is presented for large scale time-varying systems with disturbances and nonlinear interconnections between subsystems. The scheme can be used in the case of fast time-varying systems with unknown structures of the parameters. There is no restriction on the relative degrees of the subsystems. It is shown that all the signals in the decentralized adaptive control system are bounded. Simulation results demonstrate that the tracking errors are small despite the disturbances and strong interconnections between subsystems.
