Abstract

A ground state branch for the 646.75 keV 3/2 − level of 113In has been measured to be 2.0 × 10 −6. This value is discussed with respect to recent Coulomb excitation experiments. In addition, the decay of 113Sn has been found to populate the 1029-keV 1/2 + level. This and other low-spin positive parity levels in the odd mass indium nuclei are discussed in relation to the rotation-aligned coupling model.
