Abstract

AbstractThe present study provides a practical and safe cross‐coupling strategy for the synthesis of biaryls via decarboxylation of aryl carboxylic acids. In this method, BF@Propyl/Tris/Pd was used as a new catalyst to synthesize biaryls. The structural and morphological characteristics of the catalyst were investigated by FT‐IR, EDX, XRD, TGA, and SEM analyses. This catalyst system has some advantages, such as good stability, excellent workup, and reusability. We used it as a recyclable heterogeneous catalyst by easily separating it from the medium of reaction.
