Abstract

Death, dying and bereavement are natural and normal life events that happen to each and every person, no matter who they are. This article, the first of two that focus on these specific areas of life in relation to those with a learning disability, will briefly explore the meaning of death, dying and bereavement and the various forms of death and bereavement that relate to people with a learning disability. The death of family members and friends will also be briefly explored
