ABSTRACT In this performance text, the performer situates the audience as an imaginary sabbatical committee and issues a series of letters that demonstrate a plea for understanding performance scholarship, a flight of fancy imaging the dreamy delight of a performance art project in process, and a provocation and declamation for the importance of performance studies in the contemporary moment.
