Abstract

CARCINOID SYNDROME (CS) is a well-known constellation of multisystemic signs and symptoms affecting the lungs, liver, endocrine system, gastrointestinal tract, and cardiovascular system due to neuroendocrine tumors releasing vasoactive substances. Surgery is often the curative treatment for tumor resection in either the lungs, intestine, liver, or pancreas, with a vital cooperation between different surgical and anesthetic teams.1
