Abstract

A work-in-progress report of this project was published in 2002 in this journal (Jarvis, Sinka and Iantaffi) outlining the purpose of this research, the importance of seeking pupils' views on this matter and giving a brief description of methodological choices and issues emerging from the pilot phase. Therefore, this paper will focus on the main findings from the project, which was completed in July 2002. A more extensive report of the project was published by the RNID in October 2002 (University of Hertfordshire/RNID, 2002). Copyright © 2003 Whurr Publishers, Ltd.
