Abstract

To fit to the grid frequency variations and decrease steady-state current error inject into the grid, we put forward a deadbeat (DB) control plus a fractional-order repetitive control (FO-RC) for grid-tied three-phase four-leg inverter with LCL filter. The system order can be decreased to be a first-order one by employing weighted average current of inverter side and grid side as feedback of control loop. Since the DB control cannot eliminate the steady-state error, the FO-RC is plugged in paralleled with the DB to improve the current tracking accuracy. In the presented current control strategy, the DB has a quick response to the reference, while the FO-RC can exactly track the reference under grid frequency variations. The proposed method can reduce steady-state current tracking error and has fast response. The simulation result has been done to prove the effectiveness and advantages of the method.
