Abstract

In several localities of the “Marnes à bryozoaires”, in Northern French and Swiss Jura, were found very slender erect bryozoans. These bryozoans differ completely of the other Neocomian bryozoans, by the slenderness of their uni or biserial stems. The greatest similarity is with Crisiidae. So, though the articulate nature of the colony is impossible to prove in the fossils, we attribute them to this group. Two new species are described: Filicrisia (?) neocomiensis nov. sp. and Crisia (?) nozeroyensis nov. sp. The age of localities being Upper Valanginian and Lower Hauterivian, these bryozoans would be the oldest known Crisiidae.
