Abstract
We have studied the de Haas–van Alphen effect in the commensurate (C) and incommensurate (IC) phases of PrB 6 . It is found that the amplitudes and effective masses of the two oscillations α 1 and α 2 from the main Fermi surface are approximately the same in the C phase while they are considerably different in the IC phase.
