Abstract

What can " decolonizing ecology" mean ? This article questions the historical and political role of ecology in the context of the decolonization of Reunion Island. After analyzing the socio-spatial processes through which the territory has been organized, it reexamines the stakes of coloniality through the prism of work, exploring work as a meeting point for social and ecological struggles.
