Abstract

With the popularization of electric vehicles, electric vehicles in the active distribution network continue to expand the scale. Electric vehicles access to the active distribution network to participate in the economic dispatch with other distributed powers. This can reduce the total cost of active distribution network. In addition, the owners of the electric vehicle can make profit when their vehicles paticipating the dispath. This paper presents an active distribution network operation optimization model. The target of this model is to take the lowest operating cost of the active distribution network, in each calculation period. The algorithm is used to control the distributed generation units and the flexible load in the active distribution network, and optimize the electric vehicle charging and discharging. Changes of the number of electric vehicles and changes of charge and discharge cost of electric vehicles are discussed. The accuracy of the results is verified by using IEEE 13 node test feeders.
