Abstract
The aim of this article was to indicate the transformations that have occurred and continue to occur within the space of the old rural church cemeteries located within the contemporary administrative boundaries of the city of Szczecin. By combining source materials and documentation regarding the history of the discussed cemeteries with an analysis of their current state, it was possible to identify which components of their historical landscape have survived to the present day and what their significant values are. The research results showed that within the areas of the former church cemeteries, few traces of their former function have survived. However, as long as the church is in use, there is a chance to preserve remnants of this heritage, although inevitable transformations arising from contemporary users' needs are also occurring
