Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) plays an increasingly vital role in numerous domains across our modern landscape. It presents a plethora of innovative solutions that not only streamline human tasks but also enhance overall quality of life. Within this dynamic IoT framework, this paper hones in on the data transfer aspect, highlighting the pivotal role of Light Fidelity (Li-Fi) technology. Li-Fi represents a wireless data transmission methodology harnessing light as its medium. Our research endeavours culminate in the development of a tangible hardware prototype, incorporating Li-Fi technology alongside various complementary components. This bespoke prototype serves as an invaluable instrument for data transmission, harnessing the potential of light to facilitate seamless information exchange. Furthermore, to interface with this system, a dedicated mobile application has been meticulously crafted, offering users a user-friendly and efficient means of data transmission and communication.
