Abstract
This paper deals with the privacy issue in Indian perspective with respect to challenges in three different dimensions like Legal, Technical and Political domain. We have research to deal with these challenges. Advancement in technology such as remote accessibility, Data interchange Mining, Cloud computing etc. brings unforeseen challenges and one of the major challenges is threat to “privacy and protection”. There have been a plethora of developments in the privacy and data protection space in India. Data, off late, has been looked at by many very differently today in terms of value and treatment. There appears to be some rationale in the new saying that data is the new mark material [8].
